Borrowing

Borrowing is possible:
From Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:15 

Regulations:

Borrowing allowance have:

• The members of the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (tutors, students, technical/ administrative staff), by presenting their university identification card.
• External users who have required an authorisation for the reasons of studies and research wrote out by the scientific director of the Biblioteca Umanistica. In this case the accredited user will have access to the service by presenting the identity card.

Loan periods

• Students and technical/ adminsistative staff: up to 3 books for up to 30 days, renewable once for other 30 days. They can also be renewed by telephone, as long as they are not overdue.
• Tutors of the Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Culturali: Up to 15 books for up to 90 days, renewable once for other 90 days, provided that they have not been reserved by any other reader.
• Tutors of the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia: Up to 10 books for up to 90 days, renewable once for other 90 days.
• Accredited external users: Up to 3 books for up to 15 days, not renewable.

Reservations:

Books currently in loan can be reserved contacting the staff. Then the user will be advised by telephone, when the item has retuned from loan and is available again.

In case of lost or damage of the book, it will have to be substituted or paid by the user. Excluded from loan are magazines, dictionaries, encyclopaedia, manuals and commentaries and books as well as any other kind of publication that are provided for use in the library only.
