The Biblioteca Umanistica belongs to the Sistema Bibliotecario di Ateneo (SBA) of the Universitą degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia .
The collection of the library reflects the necessities of studies, teaching and research of the Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Culturali, with special regards to the branches of learning concerning humanities.
The library’s holding of texts, magazines and dvds is mostly placed in open shelves and organized after the Dewey classification-system, which assembles volumes according to the same subject, facilitating the consultation to the user.
In the reading room you can also find an area with magazines, with the last volumes of italian and international magazines, to which the library is subscribed.
Admissions
Any member of the Universitą degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (tutors, students, technical/ administrative staff) is admitted to use the Biblioteca Umanistica, presenting the identification card of the university or the identity card.
The Biblioteca Umanistica is also open for external readers who want to consult the present documents. In this case you will gain access by showing the identity card. |
